Previewfold lays out your own pages. It does not write, draw or generate anything. The watermark rule, the sizes and every limit are on [how it works](https://previewfold.com/how-it-works/). Here are the steps, the rules in order, the sizes and what it does not do. ### From your PDF to the kit 1. **Read.** The PDF is read from your device into the page. The PDF reader (pdf.js) parses it in a separate worker, so the page stays responsive. Nothing is uploaded. 2. **Pick.** Each page shows as a tile, painted only when it scrolls into view and kept as a small picture until you close the PDF. You choose up to 12 pages and their order. 3. **Lay out.** The listing's title, benefit line and list, your chosen pages and your brand kit go into fixed templates for the cover thumbnail, page thumbnails and pins. The previews on the page are the same drawing as the files. 4. **Export.** The preview PDF, each image, or everything in one ZIP, made in the page and handed to your downloads. A long job shows a count and can be cancelled. **Previewfold lays out your own pages. It does not write, draw or generate anything.** Every word on the images is one you typed, every picture is one of your pages or your logo, and the layout follows the rules below, the same way every time. ### The rules, in the order they run 1. A file is read only if it is a PDF (its first bytes say so), 150 MB or smaller, and has 200 pages or fewer. A password protected PDF is named as such and not opened; nothing tries the password. A damaged PDF gets a plain message, and anything already open stays open. 2. Pages are painted on white, the colour they print on, so a page with a transparent background previews as it prints. No canvas larger than 16 million pixels is made; a page that would be larger is painted at a lower resolution and the page says which. 3. A listing needs a title of 1 to 140 characters, and may have a benefit line of up to 90 and a list of up to 8 lines of up to 60 characters each. An emoji or an accented letter counts as 1 character. Text over a limit is kept as typed, marked, and nothing is exported until it is shortened; nothing is cut to fit. 4. The brand kit needs a shop name of 1 to 40 characters; the tagline may be up to 80 and the watermark text up to 40. 5. Text never overlaps a page miniature: every template keeps text and pages in separate parts of the image. 6. Page miniatures keep their page's shape: never stretched or cropped. For 2 to 4 pages, every way of splitting them into rows, or into columns, in order, is tried, and the one that shows the most page area is used. Area is discounted when the miniatures would differ a lot in size, so 4 pages of a size beat 1 huge page beside 3 tiny ones (rows, and fewer of them, on a tie). 7. Titles wrap by words to at most 3 lines at the template's size. A title that needs more is set one step smaller (80 percent) with as many lines as the space holds; only if it still does not fit is it set smaller again, in 10 percent steps. On thumbnails and cover pages a title is never cut off. On pins, which are read at feed size, a title keeps to 3 lines: it is set smaller, down to 56 pixels, and if it still needs a 4th line it is shortened with an ellipsis and the page tells you, so you can shorten it yourself. 8. Every piece of text is checked against what it sits on. Titles and small text need 4.5 to 1 (WCAG 2 contrast). Below that, the text switches to black or white, whichever has more contrast, and the page says so beside the preview. 9. A logo whose visible pixels have less than 2 to 1 contrast with the colour behind it is set on a small plate of white or black, whichever contrasts more with the logo, so a dark logo never vanishes into a dark colour. 10. Characters a kit font does not carry, an emoji among them, are drawn from your system's own fonts, never as an empty box. 11. The preview PDF is made at the chosen resolution (72 to 150 dpi, 110 unless you change it). If it is over the size target, it is made again lower, as below, down to 72 dpi. ### The watermark rule Each chosen page is painted as a picture, the watermark is drawn into its pixels, and the page goes into the preview as a JPEG picture. The preview holds no text layer to copy and no watermark layer to remove. The cover and closing pages carry no watermark: they are your own branding. - **Diagonal repeat:** the text repeated across the whole page at an angle. - **Centre single:** one large line across the middle of the page. - **Corner tag:** a small tag in the lower right corner. Opacity is a whole percentage from 10 to 60. The watermark is drawn in your main colour if it reaches 3 to 1 on white, otherwise in black, with a thin white outline so it stays visible on dark pages. The text is your shop name unless you type another. ### Sizes | Output | Size | What is on it | | --- | --- | --- | | Cover thumbnail | 750 by 750, 1080 by 1080, 1920 by 1080 | The title, the first 1 to 4 chosen pages, the shop tag | | Page thumbnails, up to 3 | The same sizes | The chosen pages shared out in order, up to 4 on each, and the shop tag | | Pins, 3 layouts | 1000 by 1500 | The title, the benefit line, 1 to 3 pages, the shop tag | | Preview PDF | Each page at its own size | Optional cover page, the chosen pages watermarked, optional closing page | Current marketplace sizes, with their sources, are on [marketplace image sizes](https://previewfold.com/sizes/). ### Worked example **The size target.** A seller chooses 12 detailed pages at 110 dpi with the 20 MB target, and the first file comes out at 31 MB. Size grows with about the square of the resolution, so the next try is the dpi that should land 5 percent under the target, and at least 5 dpi lower: 83 dpi. The page then reads: “At 110 dpi the file was 31 MB, over the 20 MB target, so the resolution was lowered: 110 dpi (31 MB), then 83 dpi (18 MB). Saved at 83 dpi.” **The colour check.** With the starting colours (main #1f5c4a, second #f2b84b), each frame decides like this: - **Clean:** the title is set in #1f5c4a on the background at 7.8 to 1. The shop tag is black on #f2b84b, 11.7 to 1. - **Bold:** the title colour does not reach 4.5 to 1 on the background, so titles are set in white (7.8 to 1). The shop tag is black on #f2b84b, 11.7 to 1. - **Soft:** the title is set in #1f5c4a on the background at 6.2 to 1. The shop tag is white on #1f5c4a, 7.8 to 1. Small text is held to the same 4.5 to 1. ### What is kept, and where Brand kits and listings are saved in this browser's storage as you work; a logo's file goes to the browser's own file store (IndexedDB), never into the record as text. Your PDF is never saved: only its name, size and page count are kept with the listing, so you can match it when you come back. A save is counted only once it reads back the same; a record this version cannot read is kept as it is and offered for download, never overwritten; a new logo is saved and checked before the old one is removed. If the browser blocks storage, the maker still works for the visit and says so once. The free plan makes 3 listings a month, counted in this browser by calendar month in your own time zone. What counts is the product: the PDF (its size and the start and end of the file), the chosen pages and the title. The first export of a product in a month counts; exporting the same product again does not. Change any of those and it is a new product. ### What it is not - It does not write titles, descriptions or tags, and it does not draw or generate pictures. Previewfold lays out your own pages. Every product page carries a watermark strong enough to see and light enough to read through, and the file is made of page pictures so it cannot be used as the real thing. By Previewfold. Published 19 October 2026. Last updated 19 October 2026. ### What the preview is for A buyer opens a preview to answer one question: is this the thing I need? They want to see the level, the layout, how much is on a page, whether there is an answer key and what it looks like. They are not looking for the cover again; the thumbnails already showed that. A preview that answers the question quickly sells; a preview that shows the same page 3 times, or only decorative pages, sends the buyer back to search. Marketplaces treat the preview as part of the listing. The TPT seller blog calls a detailed preview one of the most useful things a listing can have. The preview is usually a separate file from the product, so it has its own size limits: Etsy, for example, takes up to 5 digital files per listing at up to 20 MB each, and a preview attached as an image or a file has to fit the same kind of limit. That is why the maker has a size target and lowers the resolution until the file fits. ### Which pages to choose - **Start with what the buyer sees first in the product.** If the resource opens with instructions or a contents page, one of those helps a buyer see the whole set at a glance. - **Show each kind of page once.** A worksheet set with 3 kinds of activity needs 3 pages, not 10 of the first kind. - **Show the hardest or the most detailed page.** Buyers judge level from the most demanding page, not the easiest. - **Show the answer key format**, watermarked, so a buyer knows it exists and how it is laid out. - **Show versions** such as colour and black and white, or a landscape page among portrait ones, if they are part of what is sold. Keep the order of the product. A preview that jumps around makes a buyer work to understand the set. The maker shows chosen pages in the order you choose them, and Earlier and Later move a page in that order. ### How strong a watermark The watermark has two jobs that pull against each other: it should make the page useless as a printout, and it should not stop a buyer reading the page. A repeated diagonal line of your shop name at 20 to 30 percent opacity usually does both on a white worksheet. On a busy, colourful page a single large line across the middle at 30 to 40 percent is clearer. A small corner tag alone is easy to crop off, so it suits pages where the content itself is the thing to protect less, such as a cover. The maker draws the watermark into the pixels of each page and saves the page as a picture at the resolution you set, 110 dpi by default. That is sharp on a screen and soft on paper, and there is no text layer to copy out. ### Worked example A seller has a 24 page fraction worksheet set: a cover, a how to use page, 6 pages on halves, 6 on thirds, 6 on quarters, a fraction wall in landscape, and 3 pages of answers. They choose 6 pages for the preview: 1. Page 2, the how to use page, so the buyer sees the whole set described. 2. Page 3, the first halves page. 3. Page 12, a thirds page with the most steps on it. 4. Page 18, a quarters comparison page. 5. Page 21, the landscape fraction wall. 6. Page 22, the first answer page. They turn on the cover page with a 3 line list of what is included, use a diagonal watermark at 25 percent, and leave the target at 20 MB. At 110 dpi the 8 page preview (6 pages, the cover and the closing page) comes out at a few megabytes, well under the target, so nothing is lowered. ### Common mistakes - **Previewing every page.** A preview of the whole product, even watermarked, is the product. Keep it to a sample. - **A watermark that hides the content.** At 60 percent and huge, the buyer cannot read the page they are meant to judge. - **Only decorative pages.** Covers and borders tell a buyer nothing about level or layout. - **A file too large for the marketplace.** Set the size target to the marketplace's file limit, or lower, before you make the file. - **Text that can be selected.** Exporting a preview straight from the original document keeps the text layer. A preview made of page pictures does not. The rules the maker follows for the preview, the watermark and the size target are on [how it works](https://previewfold.com/how-it-works/). ### Sources - [Seller Basics: TPT product listing tips to get more sales](https://sellerblog.teacherspayteachers.com/seller-basics-tpt-product-listing-tips-to-get-more-sales/), TPT Seller Blog, 10 October 2024. For a set of 20 to 40 pages, 4 to 8 well chosen pages usually do it: the cover, 2 or 3 kinds of activity, the answer key format, and anything special such as a colour and a black and white version. **Should the answer key be in the preview?** Show that it exists and how it is laid out, not the answers. A page with the watermark across it, or only the top half of the key, tells a buyer what they get without giving it away. **Is a watermark enough to stop copying?** No watermark stops a determined person. What helps is a preview made of pictures of the pages at screen resolution, with the watermark burned into them, so there is no clean text to copy and the pages print poorly. --- # Pin layouts that read at thumbnail size, Previewfold URL: https://previewfold.com/guides/pins-that-read-small/ Last reviewed: 2026-10-19 > How a 1000 by 1500 pin reads when a feed shows it a few hundred pixels wide: title size, how many pages to show, contrast and what to leave off. ## Pin layouts that read at thumbnail size Design a pin for the size it is seen at, not the size it is made at. A 1000 by 1500 pin is shown about 230 pixels wide in a phone feed, so the title needs to be large and short, 1 to 3 pages are enough, text needs at least 4.5 to 1 contrast against what is behind it, and the shop name belongs in a small tag, not across the middle. By Previewfold. Published 19 October 2026. Last updated 19 October 2026. ### The size it is seen at Pinterest recommends a 2 by 3 pin, 1000 by 1500 pixels, and warns that taller pins may be cut off in feeds. On a phone, a feed shows 2 columns, so each pin is a little under half the screen wide: roughly 170 to 230 CSS pixels. That is about a fifth of the size the pin was made at. A title set at 90 pixels on the pin is about 18 pixels on screen, which reads. A benefit line at 44 pixels is about 9, which is at the edge of reading. Anything smaller is texture, not words. So the test of a pin is simple: shrink it to 200 pixels wide and see what is left. The title should still read, the pages should still look like pages, and the shop should still be recognisable. ### Title Pinterest's own advice is to keep messaging concise and to stack it: the key message at the top, extra detail at the bottom. For a printable that means the title says what the resource is (Fraction strips worksheets) and the benefit line says what it does for the buyer (Hands-on fraction practice in one lesson). The maker sets the title in your title font up to 3 lines at full size, and if it needs more, one step smaller. It never cuts a title off, but a title that needed the smaller step is a sign to shorten it. ### Pages One page shown large reads better than 4 shown small. 2 or 3 pages show variety without turning into a grid of grey rectangles. The maker keeps every page in its own shape (a landscape page stays landscape) and picks the arrangement that shows the most page area, so 3 mixed pages are not squeezed into equal boxes. ### Contrast The web's accessibility standard asks for at least 4.5 to 1 contrast between text and its background. It is a good floor for a pin too, because a feed shows pins small, often on a bright phone outdoors. The maker checks every piece of text against what it sits on. If your second colour is too light on your main colour, the title switches to white or black, whichever reads better, and the page says so. ### Worked example A shop with a deep green main colour (#1f5c4a) and a gold second colour (#f2b84b) makes a pin for a fraction worksheet set. With the bold frame, the background is green and the title would be gold: 4.3 to 1, just under the 4.5 floor, so the maker sets the title in white instead (7.8 to 1) and says so beside the preview. The pin shows 3 pages: 2 portrait worksheets and a landscape fraction wall. The maker tries every way of splitting the 3 pages into rows and settles on the one with the most visible page area. The shop tag sits at the foot, a gold pill with the logo and the shop name. If the seller lightens the second colour to a pale yellow such as #f7d98b, gold on green passes and the title takes the brand colour again. If they change the main colour to a mid orange (#e8812a), gold on orange is only 1.5 to 1, so the title switches to black, and the page explains why. ### Common mistakes - **Too many words.** A paragraph on a pin is unreadable at feed size. Put detail in the pin's description, not the picture. - **Too many pages.** 6 tiny pages look like a pattern. Show 1 to 3. - **Low contrast colour pairs.** Pastel on pastel looks soft at full size and disappears small. - **A logo that takes over.** Pinterest advises branding that is visible but does not take over. A small tag at the top or the foot is enough. - **Text over the pages.** A title across a worksheet makes both hard to read. The maker keeps text and pages in separate parts of the pin. A tall pin takes more of the feed's width and height than a square, and a pin taller than 2 by 3 may be cut off. **How long can the title be?** On the image, short enough to set large: up to about 6 to 8 words. The maker takes up to 140 characters and never cuts a title off, but a long title is set smaller, and small text is what stops a pin reading at thumbnail size. **Why does the maker make 3 pins?** Different layouts suit different resources, and pinning more than one design for the same listing lets a seller see which one people save. Each has the same title, pages and colours, arranged differently. --- # Keeping one brand kit across your listings, Previewfold URL: https://previewfold.com/guides/one-brand-kit/ Last reviewed: 2026-10-19 > Choose two colours, one title font, a logo and a watermark once, so every listing's thumbnails and pins look like the same shop, in search and in feeds. ## Keeping one brand kit across listings Pick 2 colours that pass a 4.5 to 1 contrast check together, 1 title font, a small logo and a watermark, and save them as a brand kit. Use that kit for every listing, so in search results and feeds a buyer starts to recognise your shop's thumbnails before they read the name. By Previewfold. Published 19 October 2026. Last updated 19 October 2026. ### Why one kit A buyer scrolling a search page sees dozens of square covers at once. Covers from one shop that share colours, type and a tag in the same place read as a set, and a buyer who liked one resource can spot the next. Pinterest lists clear branding as a core part of every pin, and asks for a logo that is visible without taking over. A brand kit is how that stays the same from the first listing to the hundredth without rebuilding a template each time. ### Two colours that work together The main colour is the one buyers will remember: it fills the bold frame, tints the soft one and draws the rule on the clean one. The second colour is for accents: the shop tag and, on the bold frame, the title. Choose them as a pair and check them as a pair. The contrast ratio, defined by the web's accessibility standard, runs from 1 to 1 (no difference) to 21 to 1 (black on white); text wants at least 4.5 to 1. The maker checks every pairing it uses and says what it found beside the colours. If a pair is too close, the text switches to white or black rather than going out unreadable, but the stronger fix is a darker main colour or a lighter second one. ### One title font One font for titles across every listing does more for recognition than any single clever choice. The maker offers 3: a serif (Fraunces) that suits classic and literacy resources, a condensed sans (Barlow Condensed) that fits long titles, and a rounded sans (Nunito) that suits younger learners. Small text on the images is always set in Barlow, so the title font only has to do one job. ### Logo and watermark A logo on a thumbnail is seen very small, so a simple mark works better than a detailed one. A PNG with a transparent background or a self-contained SVG is best. If your logo is dark and your colour is dark, the maker sets it on a small light plate so it does not disappear. The watermark is usually the shop name. Keep the style and opacity the same across listings, so a buyer who sees your watermark on a preview recognises it. ### Worked example A shop selling maths printables saves this kit: shop name Maple Lane Learning, tagline Printable resources for busy classrooms, main colour deep green #1f5c4a, second colour gold #f2b84b, a 1 colour leaf logo as SVG, watermark from the shop name, diagonal at 25 percent, the serif title font and the clean frame. On the clean frame, the title is green on white at 7.8 to 1, and the shop tag is black on gold. Later the shop starts a separate early years range. They copy the kit, keep the name and logo, change the main colour to a softer blue, switch the title font to rounded and the frame to soft. The two ranges now look related but distinct, and every new listing picks one of the 2 kits. ### Common mistakes - **A new look for every listing.** It makes each one look like a different shop. - **Colours chosen alone.** Two colours that each look good can fail together. Check the pair. - **A detailed logo.** Fine lines vanish at thumbnail size; use a simpler version of the mark. - **Losing the kit.** Kits are saved in one browser. Save a backup file, which carries every kit, listing and logo, and restore it on another computer. What the kit stores and how it is kept is on [how it works](https://previewfold.com/how-it-works/). ### Sources - [Understanding success criterion 1.4.3: contrast (minimum)](https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/contrast-minimum.html), W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. A second kit is worth it for a clearly separate line, such as a seasonal range or a different age group, where a buyer should see at a glance that it is different. **Can I use any font I like?** The maker offers 3 bundled fonts under the SIL Open Font License, so the thumbnails look the same on every computer and the licence allows the use. Fonts on your computer are not used, because their licences differ and other computers may not have them. **What happens to old listings if I change the kit?** Nothing changes in images already saved. The next time you make a listing's kit, it uses the kit as it is then, so re-making older listings brings them into line. --- # Free printables for printable sellers, Previewfold URL: https://previewfold.com/printables/ Last reviewed: 2026-10-21 > Free one page PDFs for printable sellers, made in your browser in A4 or Letter: a listing checklist, a preview planning sheet and a shop brand sheet. ## Free printables for sellers Three one page sheets for anyone who sells printable resources: a checklist for every listing, a plan for the preview pages and a record of the shop's brand. Nothing you choose is sent to a server; the only files the page fetches are its own (the PDF reader and the fonts). Your PDF is never saved either: closing it releases it, and only its name, size and page count are kept with the listing. **How large a PDF can it read?** Up to 150 MB and 200 pages. Pages are painted only as you scroll to them, so a long PDF does not fill the browser's memory. For a larger file, save the part you want to preview as its own PDF. **How many pages can go in a preview?** Up to 12, in the order you choose. The preview can also start with a cover page and end with a page of your shop name and tagline, which do not count toward the 12. **My PDF has a password. Can it be opened?** No. A password protected PDF is named as such and left alone: the page never tries a password. Save a copy without the password from the program that made it, and choose that copy. **Which fonts are used on the thumbnails and pins?** Titles use the font you choose in the brand kit: Fraunces (serif), Barlow Condensed or Nunito (rounded). Small text uses Barlow. All 4 are bundled with the site under the SIL Open Font License, so the images look the same on every computer. Characters those fonts do not carry, such as an emoji, are drawn from your system's own fonts. **What if my brand colours are hard to read together?** Every piece of text is checked against the colour it sits on, and needs 4.5 to 1 contrast. If yours does not reach it, the text is set in white or black instead, whichever reads better, and the page tells you beside the colours and the preview. **Do marketplaces allow watermarked previews?** Sellers commonly watermark previews, and marketplaces publish their own rules for previews, thumbnails and pins, which change. Check the current rules of the marketplace you list on. Previewfold is not affiliated with Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy, Pinterest, Canva or any marketplace. **Does it write or draw anything for me?** No. Previewfold lays out your own pages. It does not write, draw or generate anything. Nothing is invented for you: every word on the images is one you typed, every picture is one of your pages or your logo, and the layout follows fixed rules that are written out on how it works. **I changed a page in my PDF. Do I start again?** No. Each listing keeps its title, text, chosen pages and settings in this browser. Choose the new PDF, pick the listing, and export again: the same pages by number are used, and any that no longer exist are pointed out. **What is in the ZIP?** The watermarked preview PDF, the cover thumbnail and page thumbnails in every size you ticked, and the 3 pins, each named after the listing title. The ZIP is made a file at a time with a count, so the page stays responsive, and Cancel stops it with nothing saved. **Why is my preview PDF made at a lower resolution than I chose?** Because it was over your size target (20 MB unless you change it). The page makes it again lower, step by step, down to 72 dpi, and says each step. If even 72 dpi is over the target, it tells you the smallest size it can reach, and you can raise the target, choose fewer pages, or save it anyway. **Does it work on Mac and Windows?** Yes, in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on either. Nothing needs installing: it is a web page, and the browser can install it as an app if you like. Files go to your normal downloads folder. **Can I use it on a phone or a tablet?** Yes. The page works at phone width, and on an iPad you can choose the PDF from Files with the Choose a PDF button (drag and drop also works where the browser supports it). Large PDFs and the ZIP are quicker on a computer. **Where are my brand kits kept, and how do I move them?** In this browser on this device. Save a backup file from the brand kit panel: it holds every kit, listing and logo, and Restore from a backup file on another computer brings them all back. **Can I install Previewfold and use it offline?** Yes. After one visit with a connection, the maker and the printables work offline; the PDF reader and the kit fonts are kept the first time they are used. In Chrome or Edge, choose Install Previewfold in the menu. On an iPhone or iPad: open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. **Can I open a listing on another device, or send it to someone?** Yes. Share this makes a link that holds the brand kit without its logo and the listing's settings without the PDF, so whoever opens it needs the same PDF. The link is made in your browser and is never sent anywhere by the site. It opens as Shared with you and saves nothing until Keep a copy is pressed. **Is Previewfold connected to any marketplace?** Previewfold is not affiliated with Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy, Pinterest, Canva or any marketplace. --- # About the listing kit maker for printables, Previewfold URL: https://previewfold.com/about/ Last reviewed: 2026-10-21 > What Previewfold is: a free browser tool that turns pages of the PDF you sell into a watermarked preview, thumbnails and pins, and what it is not. ## About Previewfold A tool for people who sell printable resources: teacher resources, planners, party printables. Choose pages from the PDF you sell, and get the preview and the images a listing needs, in your own brand. ### Why we made it Every listing of a printable needs the same set of pictures: a watermarked preview so buyers can judge the resource, a square cover for search results, a few more thumbnails, and tall pins to share. Most sellers build them by hand for every listing, filling a design template or a slide deck page by page, or use a desktop program that runs on one kind of computer. It is an hour or two of copying and lining up for each product, and it is easy to export a preview with the text still selectable or a file too large to upload. We built Previewfold to do that one job in one pass. You choose the pages, and your saved brand kit does the rest by fixed rules, the same way for every listing. ### What it does It reads a PDF of up to 200 pages in your browser, shows every page as a tile, and lets you choose and order up to 12. From those it makes a preview PDF of watermarked page pictures under a size you set, a cover thumbnail and page thumbnails in 3 sizes, and 3 pin layouts, in your colours, title font and logo, with the contrast of every line checked. The rules are on [how it works](https://previewfold.com/how-it-works/), current marketplace sizes are on [image sizes](https://previewfold.com/sizes/), and the [guides](https://previewfold.com/guides/) cover choosing preview pages, pins that read small and keeping one brand kit. ### How it treats your work Your PDF is your product, so it never leaves your device. It is read and laid out in the browser, nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and the files go straight to your downloads. Brand kits and listings are saved in this browser so the next listing takes minutes, and a backup file keeps a copy you control. ### Offline and on your phone After one visit with a connection, the maker and the printables work offline, and the browser's menu can install Previewfold as an app. On an iPhone or iPad: open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. ### What it is not - Not a writer or an illustrator. Previewfold lays out your own pages. It does not write, draw or generate anything. - Not a design suite. Three frame styles, three title fonts and your colours, chosen to read at thumbnail size. - Not a marketplace tool. It does not upload or post; you do, under each marketplace's own rules. - Not a lock. A watermark makes a preview unattractive to copy, not impossible. ### Contact Questions, and reports of a layout that breaks a stated rule, go to socialreminderinfo@gmail.com. No account is needed and your PDF never leaves your browser. **What does Premium add?** Unlimited listings a month, every thumbnail (the page thumbnails and the 1080 by 1080 and 1920 by 1080 sizes), all 3 pins, every thumbnail and pin with no mark, the ZIP of everything, up to 10 brand kits and 200 saved listings, and a preview resolution up to 150 dpi. It does not change how a page is laid out. **How is the monthly count kept?** In this browser, by calendar month in your own time zone. What counts is the product: the PDF, the chosen pages and the title. The first export of a product in a month counts; exporting the same product again that month does not, and changing the PDF, the pages or the title makes a new product. On the 1st the count starts at 0. --- # Privacy: your PDFs stay in your browser, Previewfold URL: https://previewfold.com/privacy/ Last reviewed: 2026-10-21 > How Previewfold handles your PDF, logo and brand kit: they are read and laid out in your browser, and nothing you add is ever uploaded. ## Privacy: your PDFs stay in your browser How Previewfold handles your PDF, logo and brand kit: they are read and laid out in your browser, and nothing you add is ever uploaded. Last updated 21 October 2026 ### What you type Previewfold asks only for what a listing kit needs: the PDF you sell, a shop name, a tagline, two colours, a watermark and, if you choose one, a logo, plus each listing's title, benefit line and list of what is included. Your PDF is your product, so it is treated as private. The site never asks who you are, and it has no field for your name, email or photo. ### What stays on your device Your PDF is read, and every preview, thumbnail, pin and ZIP is made, in your browser. There is no server side to this site: it is a set of static files. The PDF you choose and your logo file are read on your device and never sent anywhere. The only files the maker fetches are its own: the PDF reader's worker and font data, and the four kit fonts, all from this site. The printables fetch two font files of their own, from this site, when you press Download. Your PDF is never saved: closing it, or the page, releases it, and only its file name, size and page count are kept with the listing so you can match it later. Your brand kits and listings are written to your browser's own local storage, under keys beginning with `sellerkit` (one of them is a short test that storage works, removed straight away), and a logo's file to the browser's own file store (IndexedDB) under the name `sellerkit-files`. They belong to one browser on one device: they do not follow you to another computer, they are not backed up by us, and nobody else can read them. Clearing site data for this site removes them permanently. Use Save a backup file to keep a copy; that file is saved wherever you choose and is yours to keep or delete. ### Share links and offline copies A link made with Share this carries one brand kit and one listing's settings in the part of the address after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server. It holds no logo and no PDF, and it goes only where you paste it. With Include names unticked, nothing you typed is in it: no shop name, tagline, title, benefit line, list, watermark text or file name. When a link is opened, its contents move at once from the address into that tab's session storage, which belongs to that tab only and is cleared when you press Keep a copy or Dismiss. Opening a link saves nothing to your kits and listings until you press Keep a copy. So that the site works offline, your browser keeps copies of this site's own files (its pages, scripts, fonts, and the PDF reader once it has been used) in its cache. Nothing you choose or type is kept there: your PDF, logo, kits and listings never are. Clearing site data for this site removes the copies. ### No accounts There is no sign up, no sign in, no email capture and no password. Every page, including the kit maker and its downloads, works without identifying yourself in any way. ### What is collected No account, no advertising identifiers, and nothing you enter. Standard web server logs kept by the static host may record the request for a page, its time and a network address, in the ordinary way any web server records a request. ### Page counts If page visit counting is switched on for this site, visits are counted through Cloudflare. The count sets no cookie, cannot follow you to another site, and records that a page was opened, never what you typed. ### Purchases If paid plans are offered, a purchase is handled by RevenueCat and Stripe, who receive what a payment needs, such as your email address and card, and never your PDF, logo or listings. An anonymous purchase id is stored in this browser so your access is recognised here. ### Typeface Headings are set in Bricolage Grotesque. Thumbnails and pins use Fraunces, Barlow Condensed, Nunito and Barlow. All are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and served from this site, so no font service sees your visit. The licences sit beside them at [/fonts/OFL.txt](https://previewfold.com/fonts/OFL.txt) and [/kit-fonts/OFL.txt](https://previewfold.com/kit-fonts/OFL.txt). ### Cookies Previewfold sets no cookies of its own and carries no advertising or cross site tracking scripts. ### Changes If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will appear on this page. ### Contact Questions about privacy go to socialreminderinfo@gmail.com. Since nothing is stored on a server, most requests are answered by telling you which local storage keys to clear. --- # Terms of use for the listing kit maker, Previewfold URL: https://previewfold.com/terms/ Last reviewed: 2026-10-19 > The terms that apply when you use Previewfold: what images made from your own pages can be relied on for, your data, refunds and what stays free. ## Terms of use The terms that apply when you use Previewfold: what images made from your own pages can be relied on for, your data, refunds and what stays free. It reads the PDF you choose, in your browser, and lays out the pages you pick as a watermarked preview PDF, thumbnails and pins by fixed rules. It does not write, draw or generate anything: every word and picture in what it makes is yours, from your pages and your brand kit. A watermark makes copying harder; it does not make it impossible. Marketplaces set their own rules for previews, thumbnails and pins, and change them: check each marketplace's current rules before you list. ### Names used Use only pages, logos and names you have the right to use. Marketplace names appear on this site only to describe where sellers list. Previewfold is not affiliated with Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy, Pinterest, Canva or any marketplace. ### What is free These stay free with no account. A paid tier adds the extras listed on the Premium page. Nothing free is moved behind a gate to make room for it. - Reading your PDF and choosing pages, with live previews - 3 listings a month, each with the watermarked preview PDF, the cover thumbnail and 1 pin - 3 brand kits and your last 20 listings saved, with backup export and import ### Your data Anything the site remembers is stored by your own browser on your own device. You can clear it at any time, we cannot recover it, and it does not follow you to another device. Your PDFs are never stored at all. Save a backup file to keep a copy of your brand kits and listings. ### Refunds Not happy with a purchase? Email [socialreminderinfo@gmail.com](mailto:socialreminderinfo@gmail.com) within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include: - the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address) - your access code, shown on the [Premium](https://previewfold.com/premium/) page while you have Premium on the browser you purchased from - roughly when you purchased, and which plan (weekly, yearly or lifetime) - the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have. ### Acceptable use Use the site to make previews and images for products you have the right to sell. Do not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people. ### Warranty and liability The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Previewfold is not liable for any loss arising from its use or from reliance on a preview or image it makes, including a listing a marketplace declines. Check every file before you upload it. ### Contact Questions, and reports of a layout that breaks a stated rule, go to socialreminderinfo@gmail.com. Describe the page and the setting; please do not send the PDF itself. A layout that breaks a stated rule is a defect and gets fixed.
